Bergerac (season 1)

Bergerac is a British crime drama television series set to be broadcast on UKTV in 2025. The series is a reboot of the original show of the same name, which ran on the BBC from 1981 to 1991 and starred John Nettles. Damien Molony stars as Jim Bergerac, an ex-cop who is grappling with grief and alcoholism after his wife's death. His mother-in-law, Charlie, worries that Jim isn't prioritizing his daughter, Kim. When a woman from a wealthy Jersey family is murdered, Jim must confront his personal struggles to become the investigator he once was. Unlike the original series, the reboot will focus on one character-led murder mystery that runs across all six episodes. The series will honor the original detective drama but with a contemporary twist.
