An adaptation of Jane Covey's novel After Dark. The action takes place in an alternate reality where all men live under the Women's Safety Act, which means they are bound by a strict curfew from 7pm to 7am every night and their movements are tracked by an ankle bracelet 24 hours a day. When the body of a woman is discovered, brutally murdered during curfew and left on the steps of the Women's Safety Center, seasoned police officer Pamela Green believes a man is to blame.
