Through relentless training of body and mind, members are given a number of incredible abilities that they use to control the development of humanity. A secret but powerful force, the Bene Gesserit, through a selective genetic program, is attempting to breed the Quisatz Haderach, a supermental, living computer endowed with prophetic abilities.
