Going Dutch (season 2)

In the second season of Going Dutch, Colonel Patrick Quinn has settled into life at Garrison Stroopsdorf, but his attempts to turn the worlds least important army base into a model of discipline keep colliding with its absurd comforts and laid back atmosphere. As he pushes his misfit team harder, new pressures arrive from NATO brass and visiting dignitaries, forcing Quinn to prove that Stroopsdorf can matter when it counts, even if it still hides its weapons under holiday decorations and invests more in cheese than combat drills. His relationship with his estranged daughter Maggie grows more complicated when she brings in a high ranking Canadian general as a hoped for mentor, only to watch the officer become romantically interested in Quinn, further blurring the line between family and duty. Over the season, Quinn wrestles with his stalled career, the pull of unexpected romance, and the surprising loyalty he feels toward a base he once saw as punishment, as the unit stumbles into real responsibility while still delivering chaotic, character driven comedy.
