Magnum, P.I. (season 8)

The eighth and final season of Magnum P.I. brings Thomas Magnum back from the brink of death and sets up a more emotional and reflective conclusion to the series. After being shot and left in a coma, Magnum slowly recovers while his friends at Robin's Nest and his mother struggle to come to terms with what has happened to him. This season spends more time on Magnum's personal life, including his past in Vietnam, his relationship with Michelle, and his ongoing bond with Higgins, TC and Rick. Several episodes revisit old wounds and unfinished business, such as the man who tried to kill Magnum and his family, while new cases continue to bring Magnum face to face with criminals, con artists and local mysteries across Oahu.
