Spartacus: House of Ashur (season 1)

A historical series that suggests an alternate ending for one of the main antagonists of the Spartacus franchise, Ashur. Ashur is a lame gladiator who accomplishes any of his goals through cunning and manipulation. He serves those who benefit, is willing to betray anyone for the sake of money and his own goals. In the original series, he was not killed. The authors of the series thought about the alternative fate of the hero: what would have happened if he had stayed alive? And what if Batiatus, whom Ashur served so faithfully, had given him the gladiator school after suppressing the Spartacus rebellion and the slaves? The series will reveal details of Ashur's personality and the reasons why he became an enemy of Spartacus and his gladiator brothers
