This is a TV show based on the autobiographic work by English naturalist writer Gerald Durrell. This man is also known as a founder of Jersey Zoo. The plot of the series takes place in 1935. At the center of attention is Louisa Durrell whose husband has recently died under unfortunate circumstances. The heroine decides to move from London to one of the Greek islands. Corfu meets the heroine not so friendly. Louisa feels more her financial troubles here. She has not only to survive but to grow four children.
