The Testaments (season 1)

Sequel to The Handmaid's Tale. The action takes place four years after the end of the main story. The story is told from the perspective of three women: Aunt Lydia, Agnes, and Daisy. Agnes and Daisy are June's two daughters, Hannah and Nicole. Hannah was born to Luke before Gilead took power. June was kidnapped, and her daughter was named Agnes and raised by Commander Mackenzie and his wife. Nicole was conceived with Nick and raised by Waterford and Serena. It was her that June sent with Emily across the border to Canada. The women reveal secrets about how they were connected to the Republic of Gilead. The complicated story of Aunt Lydia, the woman who trained the handmaids, is also told in more detail.
