As You Stood By (season 1)

The first season of As You Stood By follows two women, Eun-su and Hui-su, whose lives are marked by trauma and abuse. Eun-su works in a luxury department store and hides a painful past, while Hui-su is trapped in a violent marriage. Driven to desperation, they make a plan to kill Hui-su's abusive husband in order to escape their suffering. Their alliance draws the attention of Jin So Baek, a powerful figure who offers his support, but their path to freedom becomes entangled with danger and unexpected twists. The series explores themes of survival, justice, and the consequences of extreme choices as the women navigate a perilous journey with no turning back.
