City on Fire (season 1)

A NYU student is shot and killed in Central Park on the Fourth of July 2003. Samantha Cicciaro is alone, with no witnesses and very little physical evidence. A group of her friends are playing at her favorite downtown club, but she leaves to meet someone, promising to return. But she never returns. As the crime against Samantha is investigated, it emerges that she is the crucial link between a series of mysterious fires in the city, the downtown music scene, and a wealthy uptown real estate family that is crumbling under the weight of the many secrets they are keeping.rn
