Murderbot (season 1)

The series is about a thinking android who guards a team of scientists on a distant planet. After hacking his control module, he gained his freedom and started calling himself Killerbot. He has no interest in humans and all he really wants to do is watch alone a downloaded media library with 35,000 hours of movies and TV series. However, the mission and the planet itself turn out to be far more dangerous than the Company briefing. And Killerbot will have to figure out what's going on, and how he's connected to everything
