South Park is an American animated television series created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. It has been broadcast on Comedy Central since 1997. The plot revolves around the adventures of four boys and their friends living in the small town of South Park, Colorado. The series pokes fun at the flaws of American culture and current world events, and also criticizes many deep-seated beliefs and taboos through parody and dark humor. South Park airs late at night and is positioned as a cartoon for adults.
