The Rainmaker (season 1)

The main character is a young talented lawyer Rudy Baylor, who gets fired from a big insurance company literally on his first day on the job. Then he gets a job in a small firm and soon finds himself in a confrontation with his former boss - a lawyer-heavyweight Leo Drummond, defending the interests of clients. Along with her new boss J. Lyman Bruiser Stone and her oddball assistant Deke, they uncover two related conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client's son. Meanwhile, Rudy's girlfriend Sarah, who continues to work for Drummond, also finds herself in a difficult situation.
