Revival (season 1)

In a rural area near the state of Wisconsin, a strange phenomenon occurs: people who die near this place on January 1 are invariably revived on January 2. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has declared a quarantine in the area and is trying to find the reasons for the occurrence. People brought back to life retain their appearance and gradually remember their identity, they cannot be distinguished from other residents. For the investigation of an unusual phenomenon takes detective Dana Cypress, who herself is raising a recently deceased and resurrected younger sister. She has to defend the rights of the locals in front of journalists, religious fanatics in quarantine conditions. The detective also has to solve the mystery of the murder, which is connected exactly with the unusual phenomenon of the village. Under the suspicion of the woman falls both alive and returned from the other world people.
