The series tells about the work of English police officers who investigate all sorts of complex cases. They have to deal with cunning criminals who tried not to leave evidence and hints that it was they who committed this or that offense. Often, in order to better understand the details of the case, police officers turn for help to forensic medical experts, who conduct their pathological work, revealing some details of the case, which are much more important than the obvious evidence.
