Star Trek (season 1)

The first season of Star Trek The Original Series follows the starship Enterprise on a five year mission of exploration under the command of Captain James T Kirk as it travels through deep space and encounters unknown civilizations and phenomena. Kirk is supported by his logical first officer Spock and the passionate chief medical officer Leonard McCoy whose clashes in worldview highlight the constant tension between reason and emotion in the face of danger and moral dilemmas.
