House of the Owl (season 1)

A socio-political dorama on the theme of the backstage life of the country and the search for the meaning of true justice. It is the story of a father who is a shadow puppeteer and his son who stands up to his father. Ogami Ryutaro, or Owl, is a powerful shadowy figure who corrects the course of the country by using all sorts of scandals and sensational cases as blackmail. Sometimes he hides them, and sometimes, on the contrary, he brings them into the light and publicizes them. Ogami Ryu is his son Owl, and is the complete opposite of his father. He wants to get justice by following the right path and really fix the world. The plot of the story begins when the son of a prime ministerial candidate, who has close ties to the Ogami family, mysteriously dies.rn
