Season 1 of Missed Call follows single mother Sarah Gleason as her teenage daughter Katie vanishes during a school exchange trip to the quiet coastal town of Saint-Michel in southern France. Katie arrives to stay with the respected Morvan family, where daughter Emma greets her politely, but soon immerses herself in parties, alcohol, and tensions among exchange students supervised by teacher Neil Scott.
