River (season 1)

The ability to communicate with the souls of dead people is considered a special gift. It is this gift that John River is endowed with. He's a police officer. And the spirits of the people whose cases he deals with haunt him day after day. Not a day without a rest. River would be happy to quit his job for a day or two and go on vacation, but where with such a baggage of ghosts. Since work stuff makes him do nothing but work, John realizes that he can't go on like this much longer. Mentally, he is very tired. River tries in every possible way not to show his superpower at work. His superiors would not tolerate a psycho on the staff, and his colleagues would laugh at him. So he once again has to grit his teeth and go to a new job, where another lost soul awaits.rn
