Secret Service (season 1)

It follows Kate Henderson, a senior MI6 officer who leads the British intelligence agency's Russia division. On the outside she appears to live a normal life as a devoted wife and mother, but behind closed doors she is deeply involved in high-stakes espionage targeting Russian influence in the UK. Her world begins to unravel when intelligence from a key asset in Malta suggests that a powerful British politician may be secretly working for the Kremlin. The season kicks off with Kate overseeing a covert operation on a Russian oligarch's luxury estate, where her agent plants surveillance equipment that captures a conversation about a Russian plan to infiltrate the British government. As Prime Minister Anthony Fletcher announces his resignation due to a terminal illness, a fast-paced leadership race begins between Home Secretary Imogen Conrad and Foreign Secretary Ryan Walker. Kate soon discovers that Conrad has received a large undeclared donation from a Russian-linked oligarch, which raises the terrifying possibility that a top contender for the premiership is under Moscow's control.
