Jake and the Fatman (season 3)

The third season of Jake and the Fatman originally aired from September 20 1989 and continues the crime drama set in Hawaii with District Attorney Jason Lochinvar McCabe now officially in charge of the prosecutor office. William Conrad plays the gruff and cigar smoking McCabe who works alongside private investigator Jake Styles portrayed by Joe Penny to solve complex criminal cases throughout Honolulu. This season introduces investigator Neely who joins the team and works undercover to catch dangerous criminals while Jake continues his risky undercover operations. The episodes cover diverse cases including organ theft plots serial killers gang violence domestic disputes and ritualistic murders. Derek Mitchell remains as the assistant prosecutor who often clashes with McCabe over their different approaches to law and justice.
